MANAWATU LICENSING COMMITTEE.

At the meeting of the Hauawatu Licensing Committee at Marton yesterday, the full committee being present, the following applications were dealt with Trausfergof White Hart Hotel from Samuel J. Gibbons to " David, Cormack, granted. Renewals of publicans’ licenses were granted to Sameul J. Gibbons, White Hart Hotel; Rhys J. Walters, Club Motel, Marton; Edwin J. Barnes, Ben Nevis Hotel, Turakina; A. E. Wakeman, Railway Hotel, Tnrakiua; H. J. Tyrrell, Clifton Hotel, Bulls; E. W. Morse, Junction Hotel, Sanson; Geo. Gray, Post Office Hotel, Foston; A. E. Shadbolt, Manawatn Hotel, Foxton. ; M. Moyuahau, Manawatn Club Hotel, Shannon. Now publicans’ licenses were granted to J. A. Pawson, Marton ptotel, Marton; Arthur Paterson, Railway Hotel, Marton Junction; F. Rhodes, Rangitikei Hotel, Bulls; Enoch Crosby, Endymiou Hotel, Awahuri; W. J. White. Whyte’s Hotel, Foxton; S. J. Hickson, Family Hotel, Foxton. A conditional license was granted to A. B. Wakeman, of the Railway Hotel, Tnrakiua, for the Bulls races on September “18th and 19th, 1907. Messrs Bowater and Perry were appointed a sub-committee to inspect and approve the new building to be erected in the place of the Junction Hotel, Sanson, which had been destroyed hy fire.
