MAN A WAT U COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDERS. Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Maaawata County Council held at Sanson on the 14th day of August, 1907, Special Orders wore adopted as under : 1. Authorising the raising of & loan of £2OOO under the provisions of “ Tho Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and by virtue of a warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency tho Governor in terms of Section 118 of “Tho Public Works Act, 1905,” to provide the Manawatu County Council’s share of the cost of construction of a bridge known as the Shannon Bridge. 2. To provide security by way of special rale of one-sixtieth (l-60th) of a penny in the £ over the whole county on a loan of £2OOO, to be raised under “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and by virtue of a warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor in terms of section 318 of “ The Public Works Act, 1905,” (the said loan to be for a period of forty-one years), and that the interest to be paid is at the rata of 4 per centum per annum, to provide the Council’s share of the cost of construction of a bridge known as the Shannon Bridge.

To provide security by way of | Special Bate of one-fourth of & penny I in the £ over tfce Ohakea Special | Rating District Ko. 2 on a loan of \ £IOO to be raised under “ The Local | Bodies Loans Act, 1901 ” (the said \ loan to be for a period of forty-one I years), and that the interest to be I paid is at the rate of 4 per centum | per annum to provide for the protec-1 tion of McDonelTs Road from I encroachment of the Rangitikei | River.
