A YACHT SUNK.
Narrow Escape of Lord Byron
Press Association- —Copyright. London, September 5. The yacht Eros, belonging to Mr Houston, a member of tho Commons, sank in the Channel after colliding with a collier. Lord Byron, who was Mr Houston’s guest, was asleep in his cabin and was nearly drowned. Ho only escaped by climbing over the collier’s bows.
