Sydney, September 4. At the wool sales there was brisk com petition and a very strong marke Groasys touched 12jd, sooureds 23jd.

Stock Report,

Messrs Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report on their Marton sale of the 3rd instant as follows-.—Owing to the heavy rains a number of the stock advertised failed to come forward, but there was a keen demand for both sheep and cattle yarded ; 2 tooth backward wethers realised 16s Bd, wether hoggets 13s lid, small mixed sex hoggets 13s. A line of forward bullocks sold at £6 15s, 'but there was little or no sale for dairy cows. We offered a number of farm implements, which sold at satisfactory prices. Drays £5 los to £ls, a drill £lO, set of discs £7, d.f. plough £7 ss, and a reapear and binder £lO.
