The Pall Mall Gazette says the Labour Party |in New Zealand thought compulsory arbitration would sound very well but was unprepared for its logical consequences. “ The Manchester Guardian declares the Court of Appeal’s decision sound logic and equally sound law, and adds, that regarding the statement that a general strike or lock-out in defiance of the law was possible, such flights of fancy might be applied almost to any law, but they were practically no evidence that such a state of mind exists among the workmen or employers in New Zealand.
