Stock Sales.
Messrs Abraham end Williams, Ltd., report on their. Johnsonville sale as follows: — A full entry of beef. Bullocks ranged from prime heavy to medium light sorts. Cows wore fair quality but light. Bullocks made 245, cows 21s 6d. Best bullocks £lO 2s Gd, others £8 17s Gd to £!) 12s Gd, light £8 5s to £8 15s, small £7 17s Gd. A good yarding of sheep mostly wethers. Extra prime wethers 2Ss to 28s 2d, others 255, light 21s 7d to 23s Gd, ewes ISs 9d to 21s Gd. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd', report on their Marten sale hold -Tyosterday : —Wo had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. All Jclasses of sheep sold readily under the hammer and there was a keen demand for steers. Poorconditioned dairy cows wore dull of sale. We quote : Mixed hoggets 14s 3d to 15s 7d, culls 9s to 11s Gd, fat owes 15s 3d to l(ss, empty owes 11s, crossbred store wethers IGs Gd, 3tooth owes culls IGs 3d, fat cows £5 15s, 20-mouth steers £3 4s, yearling heifers 355, mixed yearlings 33s Oil, steers £4 8s 6d.
