FEILDING COURT.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4. (Before Mr. A. D. Thomson, S.M.) Louise Moore, wife of Herbert H. Moore, of Bmmythorpo, applied for a separation order, and for an order for maintenance of five of her children. It was alleged that since January last, when their residence was burnt down, Iter husband had not provided her with a homo, and . only visited her at intervals of about throe weeks. She {acknowledged having received £lO from him during the past six weeks, and tho order* were refused. Edward Sinclair was charged with having on August 21st, at Cholteuhim, rescued six draught horses impounded by R. S. Moore. Mr Saudilands appeared for complainant and Mr Graham for defendant. Complainant stated that tiro horses had broken into his paddock seven times, and the last time, owing to tho damage done in his clover, on their owner arriving next morning lie demanded 2s (id per head. Tho owner refused to pay more than Is per head, ami ultimately took tho horses away without paying anything. The defence was that the tender of (is was a proper one, and that tho horses had not trespassed on a growing crop. Fined 10s and costs, and impounding fee of 15s to he paid._ " Henry Pussoll. charged with' allowing cattle to wander on a public road in Kiwitea County, was flupd 15s and costs £2 4s.
