BABY TO INHERIT £300,000.

A fortune which will amount to well over £300,000 will await the one-year-old sou of the late Mr Adam Crompton Bealey, of Manor I House, Bury, Lancashire, when he .attains his majority. Mr Bealey was the senior partner in tiie firm of Messrs A. O. Bealey and Sous, bleachers and manufacturers, of Radcliffe, a firm which was starrted by Mr Bealey’s ancestors over 330 years ago. Ho left a fortune which has been valued for probate at £349,855 gross. Mr Bealey was twice married, and there were two sous of the first marriage, to each of whom ho left £30,000 in trust. There are a number of other legacies, and after providing for these, he left tiie whole of the residue of his fortune in trust for his second wife, who is now his widow, and, subject to her interest, to her sous who attain majority. There is only one son by the second marriage, and iio is now an infant. It is estimated that, with interest accumulations, lie will succeed to at least £300,000 when lie reaches the ago of twcutyouc. Provision is made iu the will that iu the event of the child dying before lie readies ins majority tiie fortune shall he divided between Mr Bealey’s other children.
