Tho annual ball iu connection with tho above school was held iu the Tov/n Jl'nU, gausop, on I’sulay, August Sfith, iChero weiff about po couples present, who eeouiod to thoroughly enjoy themselves. The music, supplied by Dunn’s band, Feilding, was of the hast, The suppor, - always a fbatafo p| tins gathering, was excellent, the'-cator-ing of Mr A. J. Hart, of Feilding, who supplied the cakes, etc., being quite up“lo ills- usual fcbandaKl. Dancing- was kepi ‘going fill about 3 a.m., when all departed feeling they had a' really good time. Tho Chairman,' 1 Mr T. McKenzie, informs me that the finances of the school are iu a very "healthy condition.
