R. Drury, to transfer section 23, Mataroa Village Settlement, to Mrs A. M. Harris, was refused, aa .the proposed transferee was not eligible to hold the section. The transfer from J. A. Dobson to R. W. Mitchell of section 3G, block 13, Hautapu, was approved. The transfer of the sub-lease of sections 37 and 20, block 4, Apiti, from J. G. Harris to F. Baggc, was approved, subject to the registration of sub-lessees at present holding section ‘J, block 1, Uinutoi. Thc.followiug additional transfers were also approved i Sections 10 and 13, block 10, Maugawhlfo, from R. and J. Farley to G. 0. Hawker; section 38, Mataroa Village Settlement, from D. S. Inane to M. V. Berry; section 20 block 12, Apiti, from E. Smith to H. L. Osborne; section 8, block 12, Hautapu, from M. Hulltou to W. P.‘Seaton. These approvals arc subject to the residence conditions being complied with. The transfer of section 13 and part of section 0, block i), Pukeckahu, from M. H. R. Hammond to Mrs G. Berick, was also approved. It was decided to sub-divide rind transfer section 40, block 4, Apiti. On the application of C. McDonald, to transfer sections (i, 7 and S, Poncarea Village Settlement, to O. J. Bcliingtou, it was decided to obtain n ” report from the Crown Lands

Ii rie, in regard to section 33, Mata oa Village Settlement, to Mrs M. J. Hayes, it was decided that the .matter should bo held over for further inquiry. On the condition that the transferee undertook to com - ply with the residential conditions, the application of J. Garrick, to transfer section Sfi, Maimanui Village Settlement, to G. W. Dunlop, was approved. , The Board adjourned until following day.
