MANAWATU GO UN TY| Ai COUNCIL. j SPECIAL ORDERS. , Notice is hereby given that at a : Special Meeting of the Manawatu County Council held ut Sanson on f the 14 th day of August, 1907, Special j Orders were adopted as underj 1, Authorising the raising of a i loan of £2OOO under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, ; 1901,” end b ; vrtue of a warrant issued under the band of His Excellency the Governor in terms of Section 118 of “ The Public Works Act, 1905,” to provide the Manawatu I County Council’s share of the cost of i construction of a bridge known as i the Shannon Bridge. 2. To provide security by way of special rate of one-sixtieth (I-60th) of a penny in the £ over the whole | county on a loan of £2OOO, to be i raised under “ The Local Bodies, Loans Act, 1901,” and by virtue of a ! warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor in; terms of section 118 of “ The Public Works Act, 1905,” (the said loan to be for a period of forty-one years), and that the interest to b« paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum, to provide the Council’s share of the cost of construction of a bridge known as the Shannon Bridge. 8, To provide security by way of Special Rate of one-fourth of a penny in the £ over the Ohakea Special Rating District No. 2 on a loan of £IOO to bef’raised under “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901 ” (the said loan to be for a period of torty-one years), and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum to provide for the protection of McDonell’s Road from encroachment of the. Rangitikei River.
