Although the sea. has quietened considerably there is still a heavy swell, aud the Wauaka did not get inside the breakwater till mid-day to day.
jjS-JSnow is lying lower down on tin hills than it has done for tho fust two winters. Farmers in town to-day spy that more rain could vet bo done with.
§3At a meeting of the committee held this morning it was decided to eoutinue the rain induction experiments, and that at the next trial federal stations will be worked simultaneously.
