The evidence tendered went to show that the affair was a pure accident. Fairbrother had of his ribs on his loft side and four on tho right side fractured, and one of his legs dislocated at the hip and a lung rupture. Tho immediate cause of death was pneumonia. This morning an accident happened to a man named Thomas White, employed by the Railway Department. He and another were engaged in loading trucks containing a large case and two slabs of marble. The trucks bumped by a shunting engine, causing one of the slabs to fall across White's legs, breaking both. His companion narrowly escaped.
