Mrs Goold, in roply to interrogations, admitted that she was in possession of tho "bulk of Mrs Levin's jowellery. She stated that sho intended to get rid of it by throwing it into tho sea. Sho was but slightly acquainted with Mrs Levin. She had been introdifced to her three months ago and had received at most three visits from her. The Goolds ordered a Marseilles hotel waiter to provide them with a deal box. It is surmised that they intended to transfer the head aud legs from the bag. Madame Levin lost heavily gambling at Mod to Carlo. She told a chambermaid that sho was unablo to resist the attraction of the tables.
