HOTEL DESTROYED.
Per Press Association. Auckland, August 13. Martin's Hotel, at To Puko, containing 30 rooms, was destroyed by fire on Saturday night. Very little was saved. The granddaughter of tho licensee was rescued from bed upstairs when the building was "iii fla/taesj. The hotel wa.s owned by Timothy Kenealy, of Auckland. It was valued at £2OOO, and-is believed to bo uninsured. The ■ furniture and, stock were valued at £looo,'and were insured in the Unitedfor £SOO.
