The Belfast Strike
London, August 11. Strikers at Belfast seriously stoned a party of the Berkshire regiment who were guarding a number of carts. Several of the regiment wore badly hurt. p>The officer commanding a pirty of the Berkshire Regiment, Belfast, received a wound from a bottlo during the stoning incident. Sir Antony MacDonnoll b«is gone to Belfast. Messrs Workman, Clark and Co., shipbuilders, Belfast, have temporarily discharged 2000 hands, owing I to their inability to obtain material.
