Tho Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., .report as follows; —At Palmerston North on Thursday a small entry of sheep came forward. Aged ewes in lamb 14s 3d, store cows 3Cs to 31s, cows m calf £2 10s to £3 10s, springing heifers £4 5s to £4 13s, fat cows £•* os At the clearing sale ox Uauy stock held on behalf of Mrs Camorou, Pipe’s road, Oroua Bridge, good prices were realised, cows selling up to £ll. Sows with to £6 15s, sows m pig £3 los to £4 os, porkers 17s to 31s, weauers los. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Periding report for week ending 10th instant as follows At Apiti on Tuesday sheep came forward in fair numbers, but the entry of cattle was a very small one. On account ot the scarcity ot feed the sale dragged considerably. Mixed hoggets made 13s 3d, wether hoggets 12s lOd, owe hoggets las od, small hoggets Os Gd, owes in lamb mostly 3 tooths 31s Btl, 3 tooth wethers Kis (id, hollers in calf £2 os, 20 mouths heifers 3.3 s (id, mixed cattle £3. At Feildiug on hnday we had a heavy yarding of snoop. There was a good attendance ot buyers and most lines were quitted although prices were not quite as good as those ruling during last week. There was good demand for young cattle hut female sorts wore dull of sale.. Sheep : Mixed hoggets ]4s 4cl, woolly hoggets lis. Cattle: Forward cows 80s to 30s, forward heifers £3 17s fid, cows in calf £3 10s to £4, springing 2 year heifers £3 to £3 9s Gd, springing Jersey heifers .-SG, 3 year springing heifers £4 10s to £s’lss. 3 year steers £3 10s.
