The good cither die young or poor. Sonic women seem to enjoy boast iug of their troubles. It isn’t pleasant to get called down except at breakfast The average man wastes too much time feeling sorry for himself. Many a man’s popularity is duo to the fact that ho isn’t aware of it.
Talk is cheap, yet some people use extravagant language. In many a man’s life the turning point is reached just after a pretty girl passes. Don’t try to do the things you can’t —and don’t do some of tiic things yon can. Any man can toll a lie, but it takes" it born diplomat to induce people to believe it. You can load your landlord to your house, but you can’t always make him repair it. Tho'mau who insists on occupying a front sent at a musical play always takes a back scat at church —when lie is there. It makes a woman with a baby awfully nervous when she hears of an epidemic of any kind a thousand miles away.
It is simply impossible to convince the average man that water is the proper thing iu which to drown his trouble.
