One hundred and fifty thousand visitors witnessed the Lady Godiva procession at Coventry. La Milo, who took tho part of Lady Godiva, was greeted with enthusiasm over the six milo route.

She did so and all remained indoors to spare her modesty. One man alone, “Peeping Tom,” looked out and was stricken with blindness as a consequence. i
