Stock Market.

Messrs Abraham and "Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonvilie sale as folio vs .—A fair entry of bullocks with the exception of a. few pens of prime heavy bullocks. The quality was oniy fair. Beef made 235, best bullocks £lO 2s Gd to £lO 15s, others £8 10s to £0 12s <sd, light £7 10s to £3, £7 Ha, £7 7s 6d. A good yarding of sheep, including some extra Hue wethers and ewes. All these sheep sold freely'. Heavy ewes 235, others 19s 7d, extra wethers 21s Id to 2-ls 9d, lighter 22s 3d, light wethers 20s, stores 16s to 16s Gd, 2-tooth ewes 10s 3d; Messrs Abraliam and Williams, Ltd., report;—At Mar ton on Tuesday yye yarded over 5000 sheep, principally hoggets of exceptionally good quality, which met witli_ a good competition." The majority were sold under the hammer. We quote ; 2-tooth Romney ewes in lamb 235, ewes in lamb mixed ages .Cls,. black-face 3-tooth ewes in lamb 18s, f.m. ewes in lamb 14s 7d, forward empty ewes 10s, fat wethers 30s to 33s Gd, hoggets good mixed 14s to IGs, Bd, others 11s to 14s, culls 8s to 10s. The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows; —At Himatangi on Monday we had a heavy yarding of sheep and an average entry of cattle, buyers were plentiful and a good sale resulted, all the sheep with the exception qf a few pens being sold and the bulk of the cattle selling well. . Quotations: Hoggets 11s 3d, 13s Id, 13s 3d, 14s and 15s for ewe hoggets, 2,-toochywes in lambJ22s Gd, 3 and 4year eyres in lamb 23s Gd, cull ewes in lamb 7s lOd to 11s, full-mouthed ewes in lamb 15s 9d, 2-tooth wethers 17s Gd, store cows 20s to £3, springing heifers £8 10s to £4 "7?, yearling heifers 265, 18-mouth steers £3 5s to £2 1 0s, heifers in calf £2 17s, fat cows £8 16s to £5 15s.
