Notice is hereby given that at a i Special Meeting of the Marton | Borough Council held on tho 29th ; clay of July, 1907, it was resolved i that “ In pursuance and exercise of j the powers vested in it in that behalf ! by ‘ The Municipal Corporations Act, j 1900, and ‘ Tho Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,’ tho Marton Borough j Council hereby resolves as follows : Thai for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorised to bo raised by tho Morton Borough Council under the provisions of. ‘ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901, for the purpose of erecting a new gas holder, extension of gas works plant, mains and services, tho said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d in tho £ sterling upon the rateable valuation (on the basis of annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Marton, and that such' Special Rata shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.'
