THE MOROCCO TROUBLE.

A threat by the commander of the French cruiser Galilee to .bombard the town induced the authorities at Casablanca to permit 200 Europeans and Jews to leave. The tribesmen, when prevented from attacking the refugees, in revenge desecrated the Christian cemetery and burnt the corpses. Tho Sultan's troops heavily defeated the Hackinnss tribe, taking many prisoners, but the Government losses were severe.
Tho defeat has improved the prospects of MacLoau’s release. The Europeans massacred at Casablanca were stripped naked, disembowelled ' and their skulls were smashed. Some of tlio bodies wcrD half burned, and others wore dragged about the town.
The crniscr_ Antrim has sailed from Gibraltar for^Casablauca.
