Six of those implicated in the recent seditious riot at Lahore have been sentenced td 18 months’ imprisonment, Two Hindus, editors of the vernacular papers, India and Hindustan, have been sentenced to five years each for publishing an appeal to the native army to mutiny. The Maharajah Shamsher Jang, Prime Minister of Nopaul, has forbidden residents in the State to sub scribe to seditious papers.
