In connection with the Crown case against the Duke of Richmond, cabled on July 13th, Justice Dray, m reference to tho Scottish estates, gave his reserved judgment for the Duke of Richmond on the ground that tho encumbrances which ban boon created wore genuine, but m regard to tho Goodwood estate the duty was payable on tho principal value of the'estate.
