We ;vo asked to state that the general organiser for the above movement, Oapt. McNauglit, has made preliminary arrangements for the public meeting to be held in Marton Opera House next Tuesday night at 7.30, when His Worship the Mayor, Dr. Skerman. will take the chair. Oapt. McNaught will deliver an address ou the aims and objects of the National League. The school children, under the direction of Mi 1 Mossmau, will sing patriotic songs, and the local orchestra and band will also render items, and songs from soma of our best local singers will also be given. The Organiser informs ns that he has already secured the support of a large number of our prominent merchants and others to form a local committee in Marton,
