QUEENSLAND POLITICS.
(Per Press Association 1 Brisbane, July 30. Tho Legislative Assembly met to-day. Mr Kidson, Premier, announced that Government had received from the Labour Party a promise of general support, and under the circumstances Government would continue to carry on. Brisbane, July 30. In the Assembly, Mr Bowman, Leader of the Labour Party, stated that at the Premier’s suggestion tho Party had agreed to support the Government so long as they were not asked to support anything conflicting with the Labour platform. Tbe Party would give Government general support while maintaining freedom to criticise any of its measures.
