STRIKE IN BELFAST.
Press Association. —Copyright. London, July 30. Piye hundred Belfast dockers and a thousand carters have struck for higher wages. Non-unionists from Liverpool have replaced the dockers. Owing to the unrest and intimidation in Belfast troops “are assisting in preserving order. The discontented police have temporarily resumed, though the leaders threaten to call out 90 per cent unless grievances are redressed.
