Wool Sales.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from London, under date 25th instant: — “Wool sales closed firmly this day. As compared with last sales closing rates prices are about par to 5 per cent lower for merino, inferior and scoured merino super., about 1% to 10 per cent lower for crossbred lambs, coarse scoured crossbred, medium scoured crossbred, coarse crossbred slipe, medium crossbred slipe, and faulty wool. Greasy crossbred wool, medium and coarse, in fanlty condition, Is lower by Id per lb.”
