BOWLING.
Press Association. Auckland, July 26 At a meeting of Auckland Provincial Bowling Association this evening a request was received from Auckland delegates to North Island Bowling Association to undertake the North Island tournament and the entertainment of visitors in January next in Auckland. It was decided that, as Auckland Association had uot been officially approached, they could not undertake the tournament. The President and secretary of the Association undertook to assist as chairman and secretary and a strong committee has been formed.
