Resignation of Emperor. Press Association —Copyight, Seoul, July 19. The Emperor of Korea decided to abdicate to-day. The elder statesmen have written to Marquis Ito, stating that; Japan will receive their support if it deals fairly towards the Emperor, otherwise the elder statesmen and the whole nation are prepared to die as martyrs. Viscount Hayashi has arrived at Seoul. There is much unrest in the vicinity of tho palace. The mob attacked a newspaper office, doing much damage.
