Messrs Dalgoty ami Co., Ltd., report on their Palmerston INorfch sale L follows :-We had a fair yarding of sheep and a small entry; ot cattle, most of which wo quitted at satisfactory prices. The following 1S a list of prices realised; Fat ewes l<s 7d fat and forward ewes 15s In, lambs 10s 4d, small 8, 4 and _ (5-tooth ewes in lamb los, f.m. ewes in lamb 13s 8d to 13s Od, 18-months to 2-year .steers £3 4s Od, weanor heifers 11s, backward cows in calf 30s. Messrs Abraham and Williams report:—At our weekly horse sale last Saturday we had an entry ot about 100 hofses of various classes._ M heavy draughts were offered. Lights made from £BO 13s to £3O, spring carters £lB to £Bl, unbroken 2 year draughts £l3 15s to £l7, aged draughts £ll to £ls, good upstanding hacks £l-1 to 7’S, light hacks £8 to £ll, harness cobs £. to £l2, unbroken light mares in foal ~os to £B, foals out of light inures by draught colt 88s to 375, chestnut gelding “Musscll” by Lakcshell £2l 15s, 8 year lillv by Handsome Jack— Cordelia £BS, 4 year filly by Worry— Cordelia £ls, .chestnut mare “Refine” £ls, 3 year gelding by Worry—Vera Ascot £7 10s, 4 year mare by Worry—Veracity - £9, 3 year gelding by Worry—Armonrdilla £l7, 4 year marc by Worry—Dolphine £l2, 4 year mare by Sou’wester — Nectarine £B4. At Palmerston on Thursday a good demand existedbu all classes of stock and every line offered was sold at satisfactory prices. Quotations: Good to 5 year owes ill lamb to B/L. rams 32s 7d, f.m. ewes in lamb 13s 4d to 15s, fat ewes 20s 3d, fat and forward wethers 20s 3d, hoggets 10s Od to 13s Bd, forward bullocks £(? 3s Gd to £7 3s,_ 20 months steers £3 Os, springing heifers £3 10s to £4, heifers in calf £3 10s to £3 ss, 18 mouths heifers 2os, springing cows £3 5s to £4 2s, wcaners 15s to 255, small wcaners (is Od to 10s, store cows 18s to 30s, fat and forward cows £3 11s, bulls 25s to £2. Dairy sales have been held during the week for Mr W. R. Alexander at Karerc, and Mr J. Clifford, Bunuythorpe, who bad a particularly fine lot_of cows, obtained an average of £0 5s ; Messrs Sly Bros., of Stony_ Crook, whoso herd averaged £(5 3s, the highest price bciug £l, aud Mr George Kilsby, at Kereru, whoso herd of 70 cows made an avrengo of £G 4s, the highest pricoVboiug £l2.
