Per Press Association. Wellington, July 17. The Empire Boxmaking Company’s factory, Adelaide Bond, Wellington, was destroyed by fire last night. The mantlepiece works adjoining were scorched. The premises destroyed wore full of inflammable material, including a large stock of cardboard boxes. July 18. “ The box factory destroyed by fire last night was insured for £BSO in the United, and the stock for £4075 as follows :—£ 1500 in the State, £750 in Royal Exchange, £IOOO iu Now Zealand, and £7OO iu United.
