ALLEGED CONCEALMENT OF BIRTH.

Per Press Association Dunedin, July 11. A young unmarried woman named Norah Gunderson, about 21 or 22 years of age, a recent arrival from Christchurch, was arrested this evening on a charge of concealment of birth. The circumstances go to show that a male child was born about a week ago at a house in Yorte Place whore the young woman was boarding. The dead body of an infant was found in her bedroom in a bag to-day. Tho body was removed to tho morgue for a post mortem. Norah Gunderson has been in Dunedin about three months. Sho is a native of Christchurch.

She was formally charged at the Police Court with concealment of birth and remanded till Thursday.
