The Duchess of Argyle opened the Anglo-Australian exhibition of work at Rumplemayor’s, St. James street. .The, (exhibition includes . pictures, millinery, Cook’s Photograph's, enamels, modelling, leatherwork, and' needlework. The Princess of -Wales contributed a worked screen. Mrs Reeves was present. . The Duchess of Argyle, in replying to the welcome, said.she knew something of what Australia could do, and she was sure this effort would bo successful!.
The Duke of Argyle expressed admiration of tho patriotic Australian ladies who had laboured so hard to show Londoners what Australians could do, and lie was certain that tho exhibits would bo much appreciated;
