LONG-DISTANCE TELEPHONE.
Press Association —Copyight. Sydney, July 10. The telephone between Sydney and Melbourne was officially opened by Lord Rorthcote, who conversed successfully with Sir John Madden, Acting-Governor of Victoria. The telephone will bo open to the public to-morrow.
