A deputation consisting of Messrs Davoy, Witty, Greenslade, Jennings and Gray, Ms.H;R., waited on the Colonial Secretary to-day to complaiu' A of the of having the main rolls for the principal electoral districts executed at the Government Printing Office. Dr. Findlay said he was sure it was not the desire of Government tojeome into competition with any honest enterprise, and if there was not some insaporahio'obstacle he agreed with th§ deputation that the main rolls Should ' he ' ‘printed by priVate enterprise. He promised to bring the matter before Cabinet ,as early as possible. : 1
