WELLINGTON HOSPITAL.

Presss Association. Wellington. July 6. A deputation, representing various local bodies, waited on the Hon. Mr Fowlds this morning regarding Wellington Hospital management and to vote for such an alteration in-law-as would provide for contributions for hospital and charitable aid being arranged on per capita instead of valuation basis and further that Government should have direct representation on the Boards.

The Minister replied that it would be difficult and hardly desirable to change the present basis of contributions. • It was unlikely that'" a Bill prepared liy‘ Government' dealing iyith ' hospitals and charitable aid would go through this session. The whole question was being considered by the Inspector of General Hospitals.
