Socialist Newspaper Fined. Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, July 3.
The Socialist newspaper Mienchener Post has been fined £25 with heavy costs, for libelling Doctor Karl Peters. The paper revived stories of atrocities attributed to Peters in German East Africa in 1891, calling him a coward and murderer.
