Stock Report. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Limited, report on their Martou sale, Tuesday, July 2nd;—A good yarding of sheep met 'with a ready sale under the hammer. There syas a fair yarding of cattle. We quote * Sheep; Aged ewes in lamb 14s 9d to 16s 3d, ewe lambs 13s 3d, mixed lambs 11s 9d to 13s, fat ewes 14s lOd, fat wethers 17s 9d, 2 tooth wethers 17s, forward wethers los 6d to 17s. Cattle :20 months ‘steers £2 los Cd, yearling steers S 3 4s 6d, fat cows So to £6 Is, forward cows £2 3s to £2 Us, springing cows £4 to £5. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd., report ;on their Johnson villa sale as follows*:—A fair entry of bullocks. Ine quality was only fair, a few pans of prime offering. Bidding v/as_ slow P? the rougher sorts. The quality sold wmi 22s' others 21s, best bullocks £3 12s 6d to £8 13s £7 12s 6d to £8 7s 6d, light £7 to £7 5s 5 A fair yarding of sheep of prime ciuality was very keenly competed for at a rise of Is uar head.
