Telegrams from Berlin state that the Kaiser is taking every opportunity to show that Germany is in a position to bo America’s powerful friend. Ho paid conspicuous atteutoin to Mr Andrew Carnegie at Kiel, and to the American Ambassador. -
Offended Majesty Sulks
Berlin, July 1. During the progress of a yacht race at Kiel Herr Tietzou’s yacht, from Hamburg, blaukcttod the Kaiser’s Meteor. The Kaiser ordered him to clear away, and afterwards lodged a protest. The Imperial Yacht Club dismissed the protest, and the Kaiser, being offended, refused to distribute the prizes.
