EDWIN GEACH’S HUMAN HEARTS COMPANY.

The strong ami intense play “Human Hearts,’’ described as a drama of intense sympathetic charm, to bo performed by Mr' Edwin Geach’s new dramatic company, including the eminent English artists, Messrs Ernest Leicester, George R. Moutford and Miss Valentine Sidney, on Monday night next for a season of one night at the Opera House, Martou, promises a departure from the dramatic fare to which we have been accustomed.

A story of passion and humanity, of rugged characterisation, of strong emotional interest, its success of over twelve years’ duration in America, tan ba readily appreciated. It is said tiiere are no impossible sensational Affects, but just a story the public ■ovc to listen to, to laugh at, and weep over, and probably bo the better for attending the production. In America “Human Hearts” was known as the “Silver King” of that country. Special scenery from the brush of the eminent painter, Mr R. G. Coleman, will illustrate, the famous scenes of the play. Tiie strength of the company engaged and the exceptional endeavours made by the popular manager, Mr Edwin Geaeh, regardless of expense, to suitably present this renowned play to his public, should eusuro a gigantic artistic and financial success for the venture.

Mr J. C. Williamson originally purchased-the play for his “Squaw Mau’ ’ Company, but in view of the necessities of a special cast, transferred his interest to Mr Geaeh.

The plan is now open at J. Mogridge and Co. ’s. A special reasonable tariff of prices has been arranged, viz., 4s, 2s Cd and Is. , The Now Zealand tour of this delightful play is proving a remarkable success.
