BREACHES OF LICENSING ACT.
Press Association. . Hokitika, June 25. The Magistrate’s Court was engaged all day hearing charges of breaches of the Licensing Act. A number of offenders were fined 20s and costs for being on licensed premises during prohibited hours, one publican the same amount for a technical breach of the Act, and another on two charges of exposing liquor and permitting gambling on his premises was mulcted in 80s and costs.
