THE NATIONAL BANK.

(Per Press Association.! Wellington, June 21. The directors of the National Bank of N.Z., Ltd., have cabled to the general manager in Wellington advising tho declaration of a dividend of 5 per cent, for tho half year and a bonus to shareholders of 2 per cent, on paid-up capital (£375,000), equalling 12 per cent, in all for the year ended 31st March last. Tho sum cf £23.000 has been added to the reserve fund, making it £325,000, and £10,318 is carried forward. The directors have also allocated £15,000 in reduction of bank premises, £3500 to the pension fund, and granted a bonus to the staff. The annual mooting is to bo held in London on tho 2nd prox.
