MINISTER AND MILK.
Per Press Association. Gore, June 21. The Minister for Lands received the following to-day:— Hon Mr McNab, Minister for Lands.— Hearty congratulations on your attitude regarding milk supply. I feel very deeply how needed it is, and last night brought a motion before the City Council in reference to that Council establishing a depot for the supply of absolutely pure or else humanised milk for infants whose mothers are unable from any cause to supply their natural nourishment. Your action will save many lives, which otherwise would be lost. Every father and mother ought to be grateful for your action. The course you are taking is far-seeing, and will produce in time to come a further population for our land.—Cn. Da. Stopfokd, Auckland.
