SUICIDE AT FEEDING.

W. Mat-nwors, dork at Fcilding Court, was found (load this morning iu the porch at the rear of the Courthouse, having apparently, while .sitting in a chair, shot himself through the' right eye. Death must have ‘been instantaneous. Deceased slept at the Umpire Hotel last uigiit and after breakfast at 7.30 this morning was noticed reading the paper. He wont to the Courthouse shortly afterwards and at 7.45 was seen by Messrs Askew and Pritchard who wore passing sitting dead iu the chair. Strange to say the report of the pistol was not hoard by anyone. It is reported that deceased made his will ’ yesterday. Ho was for many years clerk of the Palmerston Court and has been long known iu the district.
