Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Foilding sale as below : 'Owing to the heavy {rain the sheep yarded were looking at a great disadvantage, hat we quitted, all lines, with the exception of one, at satisfactory prices to the vendor. A line of 30 month steers realised £3 los Cd. Feilding Market Report. | Messrs A. H. Atkinson anti Co. report ;—Owing to the heavy rain which fell on Friday only a small entry of pigs came forward. We had a large entry of poultry which sold well. Poultry consisted mostly of purebred Leghorns for which there was poor demand. Quotations: — Hqrses: Three year saddle colt £8 10s. Pigs: Slips 6s to 9s 6d, small porkers 14s 6d, sows £3 os to £3 3s. Poultry: Cockerels Is 6d, purebred 'Leghorns ss, Wyandottes 3s Sd, hens Is to Is 6d, purebred White Leghorns 3s, ducks 2s Cd to 3s, geese 2s 5Jd to 2s Cd, all at each; doves 3s per pair. Produce: Pumpkins ><d per lb, marrows 3s sack, horse carrots 2s 9d sack, swedes 3s, artichokes Id per lb, onions Id to per lb, potatoes pig 3s to 2s 6d, eating do. 9s to 10s per sack, sheep dog pups os to £3 ISs.
