DROWNING FATALITY.

Tiirag Livas Lost Por Press Association, Nelson, Juno 10. At 12 oO this morning a party of eight Maoris left the Croixoiles in an oil launch for Nelson to attend the Land Court sittings there. Their launch was in charge of one of their number named Mobano. After proceeding about halt a mile on their journey, a leak in tho engine was discovered. A lantern was used to examine the engine and a lire occurred. Jdohane and several others jumped overboard, and though the launch was only tbreo chains from tho land, one, man, a woman and a boy wore drowned. Tho present available information docs not give the names of those who lost their lives.
