THE WRECK OF THE KIA ORA.

Per Press Association. Auckland, June 15. Tho Rarawa arrived at Qnehunga this morning with nine survivors from the Kia Ora wreck. Nothing definite is obtainable as to the actual number drowned. Tho second steward says there wero on board 10 officers and crew, 13 adult passengers and three children. The children and the whole of the ship's company, except the captain, were saved. With 27 saved and three known to be drowned there are several adult passengers still unaccounted for. One of the crew said he heard Capt. Blacklock call out for a boat to come to-hira, this was about a quarter of aa hour after the wreck. Blacklock was then swimming and had evidently abandoned his lifebelt in his effort to roach tho boat. Ho was not seen later.
