Waiotahi, was washed overboard and drowned during tho passage of the steamer from Auckland to Tanranga Deceasod was a native of Cape De Verdes, and came to New Zealand about 25 years ago in a whaler. He leaves a wife and & largo- family. Nelson, June 15. Charles Thomas Mausell, aged 25, formerly in tho Telegraph Department at Wellington and latterly on' the farm of his uncle J. Thorn, at Stanley Brook, was missed on Thursday and found in a shod faco downwards, suffocated among the sheaves. He had been subject to epileptic fits. The verdict at the inquest was accordingly. The parents of deceased live in Wellington and wore in town on a holiday visit to relations and arrived back to find their son dead.
