Rugby Union to-nigh 1 , the disqualifications imposed by Otago and Southland Unions were made general. In reply to AVeiiington lUig'oy Union's request for a ruling explaining under what conditions an individual might receive monetary consideration for services rendered to a football organisation and still retain his amateur status, it was decided to reply that monetary consideration may be received by any such person without destroying his amateur status jo long as he does not play football. New Zealand lUigby Union has appointed Mr Edgar Wylie manager of the New Zealand team to tour Australia, Mr Gaibraiih, treasurer ot the Union, and Mr Wylie will represent tho Union at the conference in Sydney of Australasian unions when a now agreement will be drawn up. It was decided to allow members o£ the team Jhreo shillings per day each travelling allowance. If possible a match will be arranged for July Oth between the New Zealand team and Wellington province.
